Joanne Zeolie co-founded Monument Mortgage Company in 1989 and is currently its President. She has worked in the mortgage industry for over 35 years and has been involved in all aspects of the business. Her vast experience in management, sales, operations, underwriting, and closing has allowed Joanne to successfully manage a company that has thrived through the ups and downs of various economic cycles. 

 

Joanne manages a knowledgeable team that has extensive industry experience. This is true for both the sales and operations staff. From the moment a customer begins working with Monument, they are guided through the financing “journey” by a dedicated professional focused on making the experience as simple as possible.

 

Because the Monument operation runs so effectively, Joanne has the opportunity to work directly with clients as a Loan Officer. Growing up in Massachusetts and is now a New Hampshire resident, Joanne is familiar with the real estate markets in both states.  Joanne’s goal is to educate and guide her customers, which she believes builds confidence in the entire transaction.  She loves bringing all that she knows to the client relationship! 

 

Joanne understands the stress and nervousness that can accompany the mortgage process, and she has developed a core operating philosophy that helps the client overcome their concerns: “Monument makes it a point to know our customers personally, which helps us guide them effectively and put them at ease during the process. We know that our borrowers are not just buying a house, but their home, the place where they will anchor their lives and their family. Our goal is to create a bond of trust so that customers will return to us whenever they have additional home financing needs.”

 

Having seen many industry changes during her years at Monument, Joanne speaks optimistically of technology’s growing role in the mortgage industry:  

 “Technology will aid with efficiency, timely approvals, and quicker closings,” she says, “but client relationships are personal and cannot be replaced with even the most efficient computer software.
