2022 Workshops

Monument Mortgage Co. is proud to partner with Coastal Homebuyer Education to provide quality education for home buyers in the Massachusetts area.

Coastal Homebuyer Education is a 501(c)3 organization with CHAPA, Mass Housing, and Massachusetts Housing Partnership approval of our home buying education program. We are able to offer HUD approved certificate through the Framework program. Since becoming an  independent non-profit agency in 2009, we have awarded the  Massachusetts Housing Collaborative first time home buyer certificate to nearly eighteen hundred households including fifteen so far in 2019. We expect enrollments to rise this spring as the strong real estate market continues. We have had great success with our schedule that allows buyers to complete the whole workshop over one weekend.

Our mission is to provide workshops for low-to-moderate income first time homebuyers.

These workshops enable households to make sound decisions preparing for the purchase and maintenance of their own homes. We are able to award the certificate required for a variety of mortgage programs as well as affordable housing and down payment assistance plans such as Equity Builder.

Do you need a Massachusetts Home buyer Education Certificate to qualify for a loan program or an affordable housing opportunity? Are you looking to buy a home, but not sure you can afford one? We offer the approved home buyer education workshop that is required for Mass Housing programs, the MHP One Mortgage, or the Equity Builder programs as well as other down payment assistance or affordable housing opportunities. We do not attempt to sell you any goods or services; we do not receive any commissions. The fee is $100 per household.
